Her short story 'A Star on the Tongue' was a runner-up in the Language Evolves competition and is forthcoming in Fusion Fragment. Rayn's next film, 'Sea Monsters', is about magical creatures living in modern-day Edinburgh. Other projects in the works include a poetry collection, several feature screenplays, and a musical.

An indecisive young woman gains a new perspective when she falls in love with Trudy, a fourth-dimensional vampire for whom all possible universes are equally real.

"Sometimes Sirens"

"  schools of fish colliding
                          comparing ideologies
    blue and yellow surface-darers
    orange coral blooming
    invisible stingers

we’re only sirens sometimes [when we need to eat] "
